Yes, the app is free to use for going out with company. Some organizer-specific features may evolve over time.
Yes, the app itself is downloadable anywhere in France on iOS and Android. But a venue only joins Repère once enough people already go there for you to actually run into each other — so even near you, not every venue is on there yet.
Your location is only shared with your trusted contact, and only when you turn it on. Your presence at an event or heading out tonight stays invisible by default, even to your followers — you choose when to turn it on and for whom. We never sell your data to third parties.
A long press (about 1.5 seconds, not a quick tap) alerts your trusted contact with your exact location, wherever you are during the night — deliberately not instant, so it can't trigger by accident in your pocket.
You can block or report anyone in two taps, from a profile, a chat, or a match card — never buried in a settings submenu. Blocking cuts off all contact immediately, in both directions, and every report is reviewed by a real person on our team, not an algorithm that sorts and forgets.
