Safety Standards — Child Safety

Repère has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form — including content, behavior, or use of the app to contact, exploit, or endanger a minor. This applies across every part of the app: profiles, photos, messaging, event listings, and group chats.

Repère is intended for adults only (18 years and older), consistent with its nightlife and event context. Accounts found to belong to, or to be used by, a minor are removed.

• Every user profile, message, and group can be reported or blocked directly in the app, in two taps.
• An optional identity verification step lets users build trust in the community and gives our team an additional signal when reviewing a report.
• Every report submitted in the app is reviewed by our team through a dedicated moderation dashboard, not left unattended in a queue.

Reports involving suspected CSAE are treated as our highest priority. Upon review, we:

• Remove the offending content and/or suspend or terminate the account involved.
• Preserve relevant evidence as required by applicable law.
• Cooperate with law enforcement and report to the competent authorities where required by applicable law.

Inside the app, use the block/report action available on any profile, message, or group. You can also reach our team directly at bonjour@repere.app — reports involving a child's safety are handled as a priority.

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or law enforcement first.

We may update these standards from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the version currently in effect.
